"She loved to walk down the street with a book under her arm. It had the same significance for her as an elegant cane for the dandy a century ago. It differentiated her from others."

La Boulangerie in Hayes Valley, San Francisco

Oh, it’s really really nice being back home in Vancouver. How’s everyone doing?

For those of you who have a curious itch, here are a few photos of my trip to San Francisco! Aka, the last day when I didn’t have to work and was able to squeeze in a “power hour” of brunching and shopping in Hayes Valley. The two photos above are of a lovely Parisian inspired cafe, perfect to grab a quick bite before having to jet off to the airport!

(*Note to self: must extend my stay for a few more days next time. 1 hour was definitely not enough time to squeeze everything in! And hopefully next time I’ll leave the rain behind in Vancouver and not bring it with me)
